Jenn Schmerer
CPA
Jenn graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Boise State University. She began her accounting career at a firm offering regulation compliance services for small publicly-traded companies, where she had the opportunity to complete projects all over the western United States, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
In addition to her career as a CPA, Jenn has owned and operated several small businesses, specializing in turning average franchise locations into high-performing, award-winning sites. Most recently, Jenn and her husband Jim opened All Valley Cremation in 2017, which is Nampa’s first and only crematory. As a fellow business owner, Jenn is passionate about helping her clients plan and execute a comprehensive business and tax strategy that will help them meet their goals in every phase of their business.
Jenn grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, but has been happy to call the Treasure Valley home since 2012. Jenn has three grown sons and an amazing husband, who she’s been married to for over 20 years. Her happy place is the beach.
Cody Corbridge
CPA
Cody’s accounting journey began early in life, counting quarters for his family’s car wash in Eastern Idaho. He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from BYU-Idaho, and then a Masters in Accounting from Boise State University. At BSU, Cody was selected as a Graduate Assistant and awarded the MSA Graduate Program Student Spotlight. In 2011, Cody became a Certified Public Accountant.
Cody has 14 years of experience in Public Accounting, including time spent at firms in San Francisco, New Mexico and here in Nampa. His technical knowledge, attention to detail, and thoughtful strategic planning are an invaluable asset to assist our clients in meeting their financial and business goals. Cody especially enjoys working with farming clients due to his roots growing up in Idaho potato farm country.
When he’s not working, Cody enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin and their three children. Together, they like to camp, fish and hike. At home, you’ll find him cooking, gardening, woodworking and Barbecuing.
Growing up with a career Navy father, Danielle traveled the globe and lived in Europe as well as several states from coast to coast. Over the course of her career, she has accumulated business experience creating and running several small businesses of her own as well as founding a non-profit educational organization for literacy. Danielle appreciates the varied perspectives her life’s adventures have given her and enjoys meeting new people. Her favorite part of her job is assisting clients with achieving the most favorable tax and financial outcome possible.
Danielle moved to the Treasure Valley with her family in 2014. She is the proud mother of 2 exceptional and beautiful adult daughters. She has strong ties to animal husbandry, the veterinary field, and education. After spending several years with her focus on the nuclear family, she is now focused on her larger ‘community’ family.
Danielle Davis
EA & Senior Accountant
Danielle is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and holds two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Biology and one in Accounting. She is a member of multiple honors societies. Danielle began her journey in professional tax preparation many years ago focusing on the individual taxpayer and small businesses, is experienced with representation of clients before the IRS, and more recently expanded her preparations to include foreign individuals, partnerships, fiduciaries, and corporations.
Jodi Postma
Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist
Jodi was born in Missouri but has lived in Idaho for most of her life. After graduating high school, she went to Boise State University to study Accounting, but soon found herself raising three kids instead.
Jodi has worked in customer service and office management for over fifteen years. She has been a bookkeeper for over 14 years and loves getting to know her clients, learn their stories, and help impact their business decisions by making sense of their financial data.
Jodi and her family enjoy camping, hunting and watersports together. They spend as many weekends as possible at their cabin in Donnelly.
Jessica Price
Client Service Specialist
Jessica is a Nampa native and graduated from Ridgecrest High school. She later earned her Business & Clerical certificate from Centennial Job Corps. Her passion for helping others lead her to become a licensed insurance agent for the past 12 years.
Jessica is often the cheerful voice that will greet you when you call our office and is the glue that holds our firm together. Her smile and enthusiasm are a ray of sunshine for our staff and our clients.
Jessica enjoys anything outdoors, especially fishing. She has 2 beautiful daughters that keep her very active.
David Vauk
CPA, Retired
Dave started his accounting career with a small public accounting firm in Caldwell, Idaho in 1972. Seven years later, he became a partner with Jon Frye and formed Frye & Vauk CPAs, LLP. In 2000, Dave opened the Nampa office of Frye & Vauk CPAs. After Jon Frye retired in 2016, Dave started the search for a CPA who would serve his clients well after his retirement. He and Jenn formed Vauk & Schmerer CPAs in 2018, and Dave was able to retire in October 2019. He is happy to see his legacy continuing to grow and thrive under Jenn’s confident leadership, and occasionally stops by the office between golf rounds to say hi.
Dave has lived in the Treasure Valley all his life. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Nampa. Rotary projects help our community in providing coats and school supplies to kids. He enjoys golfing and attending Boise State football and basketball games. Spending time with his wife Suzie and traveling with family and friends to places near and far are moments he treasures. Dave has a daughter who lives in San Francisco and a son who lives in Boise along with his two spoiled grandsons.
